Hi there, I’m Cesare.
If that’s tricky to pronounce, you can call me Caesar, like the salad.
I was born in Italy, raised in Coventry, and currently living in London.
For the last ten years, I’ve been doing creative work, helping some really exciting brands tell really engaging stories.
I started off at Just Eat, writing food puns that ended up on telly, the radio, the tube, and youtube.
I then went to healthcare start-up Thriva, for a completely different experience. No more multi-million pound budgets. Here it was all about maximum impact with MINIMAL budget. On top of being creative I was able to learn about growth, SEO and strategy.
I’m now at Utility Warehouse. They’ve been around the block and were looking for a new lease of life. Not only was I tasked to inject creativity into the marketing comms, but also work on UW’s first foray into OOH, print, and radio. I was also lucky to be heavily involved in 2024’s rebrand, giving the company a real facelift. – see the transformation here.
Along the way, I’ve worked on TVC, edited magazines, scripted radio ads, and travelled the country in search of the singing chefs. I’ve interviewed an astronaut, a 1966 World Cup winner, and an X Factor Judge. And I even managed to get Gianfranco Zola to paint me a pizza.
When I’m not working, I’m either at Charlton Athletic wondering why I didn’t pick a better team, making a mess in my living room trying to paint, or when that fails and my partner’s had enough, escaping on a long, long run.
